Privacy Policy
This page explains what EmbrAIdery (“we”) keeps about you when you use the EmbrAIdery program and this website, why, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do. The website itself keeps nothing about you; the program needs an account.
This website
This website has no accounts, no cookies, no analytics and no advertising or tracking scripts. Its fonts and pictures are served from the site itself. Like every website, it is delivered through Cloudflare, which sees the address of your device while it delivers the pages. Nothing is created, bought or paid for on this website: accounts, passwords, payments and everything else happen inside the program.
What we keep when you use the program
- Your account: your name, your e-mail address (and whether you have confirmed it), your password (never the password itself: only a salted one-way hash), the date and version of the terms you accepted, and when you last used the program. If you choose Continue with Google, Google tells us your name, your e-mail address (and that Google has confirmed it) and a number that identifies your Google account; we keep these to recognise you next time. We never receive your Google password, and we do not ask Google for anything else (no contacts, mail, files or calendar).
- Your computer: a code made from your operating system’s machine identifier (we cannot read the identifier back from it) and the name of your computer. We use them to keep an account on one computer at a time.
- Credits and payments: every change of your credit balance (what, when, how much), and for each payment the amount, the date, the status and Razorpay’s order and payment numbers. Payments are made in Razorpay’s own window: we never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
- AI runs: when you use an AI tool, the picture you send, the picture or design the AI makes from it, the finished machine file, the size you chose, the number of stitches, the time and what the run cost. More on this below.
- Technical records: the internet address a request came from is used for a short time to stop guessing of passwords and the mass creation of accounts, and appears in our hosting provider’s logs.
- Messages you send us for support, and our replies.
Pictures you send to the AI tools
The AI tools work on the pictures you send. We keep those pictures, what the AI makes from them and the finished files, linked to your account, to run, study and improve EmbrAIdery’s tools. You agree to this when you create your account. Please send only artwork you have the right to use, and nothing that shows other people’s private information. We do not sell your pictures, publish them, or use them to advertise.
Why we use it
- to give you the program, your credits and the results of your AI runs;
- to take payments, keep the records the law asks for and answer questions about them;
- to keep accounts secure and stop misuse;
- to improve the tools (the pictures and results above);
- to write to you about your account, for example a code to confirm your address or reset your password.
We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it.
Who else handles it
- Cloudflare hosts our server, database (in Europe) and file storage, and delivers this website.
- Google, only if you choose to sign in with it. Its own privacy policy applies to what happens at Google.
- Razorpay processes payments. Its own privacy policy applies to what you give it.
- An e-mail delivery service sends the codes and notices we write to you.
- AI model providers receive the picture and instructions of a run, so that the run can be done. We use only what a run needs, and we may change providers.
- Authorities, when the law requires us to give information.
Some of these providers work in other countries, so your data may be handled outside India.
How long we keep it
Your account data stays while your account exists. Payment and credit records stay for as long as the law requires us to keep accounting records. Pictures and results from AI runs stay for as long as they help us improve the tools, unless you ask us to delete them (see below). Short-lived technical records are deleted within days.
How we protect it
Passwords and sign-in tokens are stored only as one-way hashes. The program holds no payment secret and no AI key: those stay on our servers. All traffic uses HTTPS. No system is perfectly safe, and we cannot promise it.
Your rights
You may ask us to show you what we hold about you, to correct it, to delete your account and the pictures linked to it, or to stop using your data for improving the tools. We will do it unless the law requires us to keep a record (for example of a payment). You may also complain to us about how we handle your data. Children
EmbrAIdery is made for businesses and adults. It is not for people under 18.
Changes
When this page changes, the date at the top changes. If a change matters to you, the program will tell you the next time you sign in.
